Coaching

Could you use a coach?

Not someone yelling from the sidelines, telling you what to do or what you are doing wrong...

But a vehicle that helps you move from where you are to where you really want to go.

Could you use someone walking with you, asking the tough questions, providing a different perspective....

Helping you work through the distractions to accomplish God's plan...

Drawing out what God has placed in you, so that you can "be" and "do" God's plan.

Maybe you could use a coach.

Two are better than one,
because they have a
good return for their work....
Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Ecclesiastes 4:9

A Coaching Model:
  1. Establish Focus - Where are you now, and where do you want to be?  What is missing?  What needs to be achieved?  Where do you want to go?
  2. Discover Possibilities - What is possible?  What can be done with what is known or currently "real?"
  3. Plan the Action - This is the time for strategizing the way to get from where you are to where you want to be.
  4. Remove Barriers - What stands in the way?  How can it be removed?
  5. Recap - Go over the plan again, then... "just do it!"
